Primary Care at
Gray Wolf Ranch

Our Primary Care treatment program is a high intensity, residential, 24/7 structured care and supervision model that includes complete medical checkups, biopsychosocial assessments, psychological and psychiatric consultations, and individual and group therapy for each resident. This program is for residents who need stabilization and education on addiction and recovery before joining the extended care recovery program. It is designed to arrest the progress of chemical and/or behavioral addictions and co-occurring disorders in a holistic, experiential and therapeutic setting.

Primary Care generally lasts for approximately 30-45 days and begins with our admissions process. We offer multiple solutions for detox, including a partnership with a Seattle-based hospital system and transportation services from anywhere in the world. We address the physical, mental and spiritual health of each resident and help him learn to build and maintain healthy relationships for lifelong recovery.

Primary Care has a heavy emphasis on group and individual counseling, relationship-building, team-building through an extensive group wilderness program, regular exercise including yoga, learning how to use relapse prevention skills, and educational programs such as our mindfulness curriculum.

Day in the Life

“There is not one ‘right’ way to help families. To be able to walk alongside families is a true gift, and it is the way we begin to break the cycle and create wellness.”
