A Vision for Recovery

A PLACE TO HEAL

Surrounded by Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains, Port Townsend, Washington, is an inviting place. WitWe designed Gray Wolf Ranch to provide high-quality care in every aspect of recoveryh 10,000 residents, the town is big enough to blend into yet small enough to feel at home in. The air is clear and the views are spectacular. Visitors come to town for the many art and music festivals, to enjoy the outdoors, and to appreciate the historic buildings. From town, the four-mile drive to Gray Wolf Ranch passes horses, cows, and llamas. Towering fir trees line the gravel road that leads to the lodge. As you walk in the front door, you are greeted by the smell of freshly baked muffins. A large black dog with a wagging tail gives guests a friendly welcome.

This may not sound like a typical rehab facility. It's not. We designed Gray Wolf Ranch to provide high-quality care in every aspect of recovery-from the professional staff and individualized treatment plans to the nutritious meals and beautiful surroundings. All with the goal of giving young men a place to regain their self-respect with guidance and support. The challenges life poses to a young addict are complex. At Gray Wolf Ranch, we are committed to helping young men build new lives for themselves so they can look forward to a future without drugs or alcohol.

A typical length of stay at Gray Wolf Ranch is three to four months. The residence begins with a highly structured program of work, school, recreation, and counseling. As each resident progresses, he assumes greater responsibilities and acts as a role model to new residents. With the help of Gray Wolf staff, he develops a plan for his future. This may include returning home, continuing an education, or finding a job.

We are proud of the living environment and treatment programs we have created. We hope you'll call or write if you would like more information about our program, our application process, or our acceptance criteria. If you're in the Seattle area, please plan on making the drive to Port Townsend to meet with us in person and see firsthand how our vision is being fulfilled.
