Gray Wolf has just completed a major construction
project. Our new 2,000 square-foot annex building
houses a state-of-the art recreation room for
our residents as well as a new bedroom and
additional office space. Adjacent to our existing
building, it allows us to expand our resident
population to 17.
We have also opened our new Sober House which
we are calling The Wolf's Den. A fully furnished
house that sits on five acres of land recently
purchased by GWR, the Den will accommodate
residents who have successfully completed the
GWR program but want to stay in the area for
some additional time before going home or back
to school. Wolf Den residents must be working,
volunteering, or going to school and must have
a sponsor as well as be attending AA/NA meetings
on a regular basis to qualify for residency.
Den residents are invited for dinner on Friday
night and are encouraged to participate in
our open NA meetings and our bimonthly alumni
group. The Wolf's Den offers the "next
step" for GWR graduates, providing a safe,
sober house with minimal structure and supervision
but with the support of GWR staff.
