VOLUNTEER PROGRAM AWARD

According to Gray Wolf's Community Services Coordinator Holly Hoffman, the volunteer program at the Ranch is going strong. Recently, the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission gave special recognition to the volunteer efforts of Gray Wolf residents at Fort Flagler State Park. Crews from Gray Wolf cut brush, cleaned up graffiti, and handled other maintenance work at the popular park on Marrowstone Island. Throughout the spring months, residents were at the park twice a week.

2ND ANNUAL SUMMER ALUMNI TREK, July 12-16
Alumni: We are very excited to invite you back to the Ranch for a reunion and a trip to the mountains. Several of you have called asking about such an event. It is an idea whose time has come. The plan is to gather Thursday afternoon (7/12), and leave for the field Friday morning. Our destination is the Seven Lakes Basin above the Sol Duc river. Much of this area is a high alpine meadow above tree line. We will spend three nights out, then return on Monday in time to be cleaned up for a barbecue with the current residents and the local AA community. If we have more than 10, we will take a second group to a different place. To sign up, please call 1-800-571-5505, 360-385-5505 or go on-line to www.graywolfranch.com to the alumni section.
