Healthy recreational activities are an integral part of our program. The outdoor environment provides opportunities for hiking, kayaking, and sailing. Learning how to have fun without drugs or alcohol is vital to building a successful future. Recent activities include:

 
  • Aug. 28 - Sept. 7: Sailing/Hiking trek in the San Juan Islands

  • Oct 5 - 12: Hiking Trek in the Olympic Mountains

  • Oct. 26: Ropes course at Whidbey Institute, on Whidbey Island

  • Nov. 1: Day Hike to Hurricane Ridge/Olympic National Forest

  • Nov. 14: Seattle Trip to see Imax movie "Everest"

  • Nov. 20: Mountain biking at Fort Flagler

  • Dec. 15: Snowboarding and Skiing at Mount Baker

  • Dec. 17 - 22: Wilderness Trek through Hoh Rain Forest

  • Dec. 31: Sober New Years Eve Party (with live music)

  • Jan. 9: Mt. Baker snowboard and Ski trip

  • Jan. 15: Seattle day trip

  • Jan. 28 - Feb. 4: Wilderness Trek. Snow-camping in the Enchanted Valley, Olympic National Park

  • Feb. 27: Day trip with naturalist to Protection Island, aboard the M/V Glacier Spirit
  • Upcoming activities include a five-day sailing trip aboard the traditional wooden schooner Alcyone, and a seven-day wilderness hike in the Dosewallips.
