At Gray Wolf we search for qualified, dedicated individuals to fill our staff positions. In this issue we'd like to introduce you to two of them.
RITU GOENKA, Chemical Dependency Counselor. A native of Madras, India, I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Bombay before coming to New York in 1990 to publish the Indian-American Magazine. While working as a volunteer at the Hazelden Fellowship Club, I made the decision to pursue a career in the field of chemical-dependency treatment. Several years later, I completed the 55-week counselor training program at the Hazelden Center in Minnesota, where I also received my state certification. I decided to move to Seattle to begin my professional career, which has included working in a residential in-patient treatment facility, conducting a community needs-assessment survey, and conducting DUI assessments. As one of the newer members of the Gray Wolf Ranch staff, I am excited to have the opportunity to become part of the highly trained and dedicated treatment team here and to work in such a beautiful setting.
