Welcome to the Gray Wolf alumni reunion Page.
We are really excited about our upcoming ten-year reunion and are looking forward to seeing all of you here. The weekend is shaping up nicely and it is going to be a great way to honor the history of Gray Wolf Ranch and the many lives that have been touched.
The reunion will be hosted on a new section of the Gray Wolf Ranch campus located down the new driveway from the main lodge. We are setting up a hospitality tent that will be open throughout the weekend and made available for all who want to visit, hang out and spend time together.
We have purposely not wanted to overbook people so we have two formal events that will take place over the weekend. This will allow plenty of time to visit with old friends as well as spend time in Port Townsend.
The official weekend will kick off with an open house at the Ranch from 3 to 5 on Saturday May 24th. We will have the house and the grounds open and you will be free to walk around and take a trip down memory lane. We will serve light refreshments in the hospitality tent during the open house.
At 6pm we will begin the evening events with appetizers and then move to a family style dinner served in the main tent. The evening will be filled with various speakers and entertainment. We are lucky to have David and Nick Sheff joining us to talk about their books “A Beautiful Boy” and “Tweak” (GWR will have copies on site). They will talk about their experiences with the disease, what it was like, what happened, and what it is like now. They will answer questions and sign books at the end of the evening. Following Dave and Nick we will enjoy a collaboration of art and hip hop “Brushes and Beats” a show with live paintings from artist Chris Allen aka Inkproof (Mpls) and performances from Noah B. from twisted Linguistics (Mpls.), DJ Lucky Thrills (Seattle), and Matty V. (Seattle). There will be time for hanging out, great food and fellowship.
Sunday morning will be an open time and we will serve coffee and scones in the hospitality tent for those who are interested. We are also “tossing around” the idea of a softball game for those want to join in. At 2pm we will host a major BBQ feast and the main tent on campus and will have music provided by Lucias Clay featuring Peter Lack! This is sure to be a great time and not to be missed. We encourage people to hang out after this and relax; we will keep the hospitality tent open into the evening.
On behalf of the entire Gray Wolf Ranch staff we can’t wait to see you and spend a really fun weekend together.
